I have a Philips HDR312 TiVo, will I still need a converter box when over the air goes all digital in Feb? - philips air purifier

I have a Philips Hdr312 TiVo service for life. I connected only one antenna, so you record only 6 or more channels, but still a lot of my favorite shows. I wonder if she was still a converter when the wave signals to all digital signals switch in February 2009, or if the TiVo box will ensure that the transition even if they have a kind of old Tivo model.

TiVo has only an analog tuner, so that, in fact, you need a converter for them.

Unfortunately, adequate support satellite digital converter, you should keep your TiVo System Software, and not just doing it for the series 1s more.

The solutions are designed for use, primarily available in order to create satellites and a code with similar IR.

TiVo could offer upgrade for Series 1 in total branch of the participants for life. If your product was purchased before January 20.2000 life, you can create a new TiVo for free here. A TiVo HD is what you have, because a digital tuner that will.

It is easy to check. If you have a digital tuner (unlikely but possible), then it should now be able to digital channels, as preserved, 9.1 or 5.1.
If you only receive analog channels, no matter how the antenna, you need a converter.
